Our members include independent producers, talented young filmmakers, students, and aspiring and professional writers.

These are people who desire to make a difference here as we shape the fledgling screen industry in Singapore.

We welcome all who believe in the cause of building a market of collaborative screen production workers based on fair practices and the conscientious respect for the rights of the individual. This may include advocates, academics and practitioners.

Members get these ...

We nurture the screenwriter in knowledge of the craft (narrative structure, format, etc).
We create market links for the screenwriter to sell the work, and prepares the screenwriter with the necessary skills and documents to ensure a mutually beneficial transaction (pitching the work, agreement documents, legal advice, asserting copyrights).
Members receive free legal support and advice in all matters of intellectual property and contracts, towards getting their works optioned or sold.
We provide a unified voice for the screenwriting community in promoting fair practices within the industry.

Membership rates

We offer a one-year membership at the following rates:

Adult: S$30

Full-time student: S$20 (must provide proof that you are a full-time student)

How to become a member

To join us as a member, you need to do 2 things:

Submit the membership form

Make your payment in cash or by cheque when you attend one of our events. Your membership will only start when your payment has cleared.
