Mind Our Language! (Writing for Television in our Mother Tongues)

Meet Boris, Rafaat and Naresh who will share their experience writing for Channel 8, Suria and Vasantham.

  • How are different language writers' rooms run? Is a vernacular language script first written in English and then translated?

  • What are the similarities, differences and challenges working within different language-mediums of the same film and television industry?

  • Come and hear from our speakers on how writers can stay true to their stories, and cultural identity.
